I'll separate my review into sections.
IJA=Indiana Jones Adventure (Disneyland)
IJA: TotCS= Temple of the Crystal Skull
~INTRODUCTION~
DisneySea's Indy is perfect in almost every way. The temple is huge and way more impressive than IJA's small temple at Disneyland. The Lost River Delta area also fits with Indy's theme better than Adventureland. The overall ride is very similar with the exception of a few chambers. Another thing you'll notice is that it's more bumpy and thrilling than IJA.
~QUEUE~
Ok...where do I begin. The first thing you notice when you enter the main pyramid chamber is that it's a lot more massive than IJA's queue. There are tons of details here like water pouring down from snake statues, amazing paintings, and very detailed carvings. Another thing you notice here is that there are hundreds of skeletons. It's a lot more scarier than IJA's queue. One of the key parts of IJA: TotCS's queue is a huge metal plate which reflects sunlight from holes in the ceiling to a painting of the Crystal Skull. It's very cool and the best part of the queue. As you go on, you see a narrow chamber with red eyes glaring at you. It's very creepy here as you can hear chanting and whispering. Then you go on to Indy's office and the film room. Even the station is better themed and more detailed. All I can say is that their queue is a lot more detailed than IJA's queue.
~Chamber of Purity~
This is the area replacing the Chamber of Destiny which is the 3 door room. You'll see that this area is very detailed as well and full of special effects. There is fog everywhere, and pools of water laying on the ground. You'll also notice different hallways here, filled with fog. Vines also hang above the single door, which is also carved beautifully. This chamber greatly improves on IJA's Chamber of Destiny
~Hall of Promise~
As you enter this room, you'll notice the Crystal Skull sitting on top of a snake pedestal. To your right, you'll see statues pouring water from jugs and to your left, you'll see jars of treasures. Above you is a fantastic starry sky. This room is sort of like if IJA's Hall of Promise had all 3 treasure effects turned on. Everything here is carved and three dimensional unlike the flat paintings at IJA. The Crystal Skull also does a unique glowing effect with lasers. Finally, the music here is different than IJA's and more creepy.
~Tunnel of Torment~
This room is basically the same with the exception of more detail in the walls.
~Gates of Doom~
This room is a bit better than IJA's because the gates are better carved and have more mist/fog pouring out of them. The Indy animatronic is also a bit better. In this room, he is also holding back the gates while yelling at you.
~Mummy Chamber~
This room is better than IJA's because there are still strong winds blowing here, and the skeletons pop out as groups which makes this room scarier. Unlike IJA's, there are no painted skeletons.
~Bug Room~
This room is a bit better than IJA's because the bugs are clearer and more 3D like. In IJA's, they are a bit blurry and flat sometimes. After the refurb in 2004, the projections no longer seem to be coming from the jeep. In DisneySea's Indy, the projections are still coming from the jeep and looks a lot more realistic.
~Cavern of Bubbling Death~
This room is very similar to IJA's. Replace the lava with some kind of electrical pit and the Mara skull with the Crystal Skull. The only major difference is that there is a huge vortex meant to symbolize the Fountain of Youth. It's very cool and huge. The color hues are also changed from red and orange to blue and green. This makes the overall tone feel scarier. The Crystal Skull also shoots a green laser at your vehicle. Look at it's right eye and you'll see it charging the laser. The bridge also shakes here as well and you'll hear many explosions.
~Snake Temple~
This room is very similar to IJA's with the exception of different snakes. This one in IJA is a cobra, and this one is some sort of South American snake idol. There are also electrical effects here if I remember correctly. You also see different snake statues like the ones found in the queue. The snake is scarier here though than in IJA.
~Mudslide Chamber~
Everything here is the same except instead of Mara's spirit projection, there's a projection of the Crystal Skull. There's also another bigger Crystal Skull here. Further on, you'll see hundreds of skulls just like IJA's except there's no pyro effects here. I still prefer this chamber to IJA's chamber.
~Statue God~
This hall replaces the dreadful Rat Cave. Your vehicle approaches the hude statue which lights up. It then yells something in Japanese and blows a huge fireball at your vehicle. Your vehicle narrowly dodges it and continues on. This is one of the best effects in the ride.
~Dart Corridor~
This room is one of the most improved chambers in DisneySea's Indy. In IJA, you have flat paintings to symbolize skeleton warriors. In this Indy, you have fully carved statues. As you enter, their eyes light up and they shoot arrows at you from their mouths. Very cool indeed and way better than IJA's lame paintings.
~Boulder Room~
This is basically the same. Indy yells something while hanging from a vine, the boulder rolls down, and you dive underneath it. The lighting effects in this room are better though and make it scarier. From then on, you see Indy beside the boulder, congratulating you on a expediton well done.
~Conclusion~
This ride is better then IJA in every way possible. It's a lot more thrilling than IJA. I give this ride a 10/10 and a vote for the best queue ever, and best theme park attraction. This ride beats Pooh's Hunny Hunt and JttCotE by a bit because it combines all the best elements of a dark ride (such as great sets and timing) with spectacular ride vehicles, fantastic theming, and thrills. You really do feel you're in a lost temple in South America and that you won't survive all these booby traps. Just like IJA, it sets a new standard for dark rides. So far(with the exception of DisneySea's Indy), there has been no other ride that surpasses IJA.

This was a teriffic Disney attraction. the special effects were great and I was genuinely thrilled a couple of times. I have not been on the Disneyland equivalent in California...but I thought that this was really a great time and worth the wait!!
